The Global Art international curriculum

Developed in Malaysia since 1999 — structured by age so kids can start as young as 3 and continue through to age 17.

First steps in art for our youngest learners · playful exploration of colour and shape · builds fine motor control, pencil grip, and basic colour awareness.

• Play-led — focused on experimenting, not "getting it right"
• 45-minute lessons matched to short attention spans
• 3 sub-levels (J1, J2, J3) for gradual progression

5–6yrs Foundation F1F2F3

Builds visual foundation · shapes, colours, simple composition, and storytelling through pictures.

• 1.5-hour lessons
• 3 sub-levels (F1, F2, F3)
• Builds confidence to draw freely

6yrs Pre-Basic PB

Bridge level between Foundation and Basic · prepares your child for more structured techniques.

Where real technique begins · observation, colour mixing, composition, and a range of painting techniques.

Champion of the 2025 Global Art International Teacher Art Competition — ranked #1 in the world. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Art Education and is trained across the full Global Art curriculum, from Junior through Advanced, including the Comic enhancement course.
